I'm looking for stories to post here or links to story pages or archives for our favorite westerns.  Our top favorites are listed below but I'd be happy to also post stories or links for any of the great westerns series of the 50's and 60's which don't have any of their own fanfic pages.  If you want stories considered or know of a good site I can link to, please contact me at: rjkile@williamsmith.org

New section under construction:  Fanfic Character Bios

We're planning a section of character bios for use by fanfic writers.  All the facts will be taken from the episodes.  If you have a character from any western fandom that you have some episode backstory on, we'd be happy to include it.  If you want to write a bio or just want to contribute some facts, please do.  We include a sample bio of Griff King (Bonanza last season) just to tell you where we're going.  We have people writing bios of Candy & Jamie (Bonanza), the Lancer brothers, the Laredo Rangers, Johnny & Dan from Lawman. Jess Harper from Laramie and the Mag 7.  Any other Western character will be included if someone submits the information.

If you've written any stories relating to any  characters noted here, we'd be happy to review them for inclusion.   The library  accepts cross-overs, alternate episode endings, alternate episodes, alternate universe, R-rated, anything but slash, as long as the characters are recognizable.  R-rated, AU will be labelled as such. rjkile@williamsmith.org If you write fanfic for a Western that doesn't have it's own fanfic site, contact me.  I haven't found sites to link to for many of our favorites which include Virginian, Quest, Wildside,  Cheyenne, Sugarfoot.
