Brothers and Sisters

This drabble was written in response to the challenge to use a quote from a Lancer scene but attributed to another character, and (for some reason I never understood) to use the phrase “just hard to shake a lifetime of training.” So here’s my go at it, 100 words.
Ruffled shirt. Plaid pants. Feathered hat. That just wasn’t the style in these parts.
He’d seen the photograph of him all gussied up, marveled that he actually said he “photographed well.” Was it just because he was from Boston?
The door burst open, accompanied by the swish of petticoats. Johnny looked up, startled. No, stunned.
“Oh, just think of me like a sister!” lisped Scott, sashaying in.
Sister?
Johnny noticed the tiny waist, slender ankles, the way he waltzed about. Sister, hell!
He shrugged, smiled, patted his lap. “Drink?” Just hard to shake a lifetime of training.
