Murdoch's Folly

By Fliss

This drabble (exactly 100 words) was written in response to a challenge set by Sharon to select a quote from a Lancer episode then write a drabble in which that line is uttered by a different character in another context. Have fun picking the lines.

“Teresa, I could hear Murdoch making silly wheeee noises from outside. What’s he doing?”

“Scott, he’s been at it all evening. I’ve never known him to be this patient. Surely he can’t keep it up for much longer. His bottom’s pretty well wore out.”

“I’ll go see.”

“Er, Murdoch, why don’t you put your hands down before all the blood drains to your feet.”

“What’re you saying – I’m a darned fool? No, Scott, you’re mistaken. I never knew a man could find so much in the night.”

“Murdoch, Johnny’s been sliding down banisters for years. It’s nothing new.”
