Murdoch's Prayer

God, too long I've gone my own way,
I don't know what I can say
To express to you my joy today.

I thank you for your watch care
over my sons,
To ask any more I do not dare
For I am unworthy.

You've given me my hearts desire
My sons, I thought were lost to me.
My heart is aflame with the fire
Of thankful emotion.

Guide my steps aright,
Help me to show my sons my love,
Melt my ingrown heart grown cold,
let my love be strong and bold.

One more thing I'd like to say,
I'm thankful for my son's devotion
To each other,
Two men blended as
Loving brothers.
