#35 - "The Bandits"
Ches Ryan robbed the mine payroll in retaliation for his pay being docked. In the course of his getaway, he comes across a town with a fever epidemic. A young woman and her kid brother have both taken ill and have no one to take care of them. Ryan stays despite knowing he's likely to get caught. When Dan catches up to him, they both tend the pair until Dan also gets the fever. Despite the new opportunity to get away, Ryan tends Dan as well. He then returns the money and tells the young woman he'll be back.
